DSP Analyst

Your Role
The Downstream Processing (DSP) department is responsible for purification and formulation development of biopharmaceuticals and for the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). DSP plays a key role between different departments like Upstream Processing, Analytical Development and Quality Control and Medicinal & Protein Chemistry. You will work in a stimulating group of researchers and therefore be able to develop your personal and scientific skills. In close collaboration with your colleagues you will purify, modify and characterize antibodies for different departments using standard techniques and support the team using several analytical techniques. The work includes preparative protein purification (chromatography and filtration) and analytical characterization.

Your profile

  • An MLO education with > 4 years experience or an HLO degree in life sciences or equivalent
  • A background in downstream processing; knowledge of preparative chromatography
  • Experience in protein characterization using different analytical techniques such as HPLC and SDS-PAGE
  • Basic knowledge of proteins (e.g. monoclonal antibodies)
  • A team-mindset with adequate verbal and written communication skills in English
  • An open-mind and a flexible and pragmatic approach.
