Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and aliquoting reagents.
  • Assembling the final product before shipment.
  • Guiding and training colleagues.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
  • Improving existing protocols and procedures.
  • Organizing the laboratory.
  • Working in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.

Requirements:

  • MBO or BSc in Life Sciences or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a laboratory, production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a quality-driven environment, preferably under ISO 13485, GMP or comparable quality standards.
  • Experience with oligonucleotides and PCR is a plus.
  • Experience with liquid handling robots is an advantage.
  • A structured and disciplined approach to work, with the ability to maintain accuracy when performing repetitive tasks.
  • A proactive and hands-on attitude, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Enjoys practical laboratory work and is motivated by contributing to a consistent and reliable production process.
  • Good collaboration, planning and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team, and willing to guide and support colleagues.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • You currently live near Utrecht Science Park or are willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
  • To be considered for this position, you must be legally permitted to live and work in the Netherlands. Sponsorship for a work visa may not always be possible.
