EU Commercial Excellence Director
Job Description
We Are Teva
Our Team, Your Impact
We are recruiting an EU Commercial Excellence Director to own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the performance monitoring framework supporting our European commercial organization.
This role bridges commercial strategy and operational execution: it identifies the right leading indicators predicting business outcomes, builds the systems to track them at pace and ensures EU commercial leadership is equipped with the insights for decision making in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Working closely with the EU Commercial Lead, the Strategy & Transformation team and supported by the Insights & Analytics Hub, this high-impact role will be instrumental in bringing focus on the metrics that matter and ensuring they translate into action at every level – from regional leadership reviews to market-level commercial planning.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Design & own end-to-end commercial performance KPI framework for EU, with emphasis on leading indicators
- Partner with the Insights & Analytics Hub to build scalable, automated dashboards and ensure continuous update and relevance of KPI – retiring metrics not driving effective impact & introducing new indicators as commercial priorities evolve
- Own the content framework and analytical backbone for business reviews, ensuring discussions are insights-led, value-driven and decision-oriented
- Establish a clear “performance rhythm” – from weekly flash report to monthly performance packs & quarterly strategic reviews
- Serve as the single point of truth for commercial performance data presented to regional & global leadership; own data integrity and narrative quality
- Play a central role in AOP, LRP and reforecast cycles by providing the right commercial analytics layer and supporting commercial leadership in building evidence-based plan
Your Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, commercial excellence or business analytics within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with exposure to both innovative and generics, biosimilar and/or OTC businesses
- Proven track record of designing and implementing KPI frameworks and performance dashboards at a regional or global level
- Strong experience supporting business review & financial planning cycles in matrix organizations
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with deep understanding of pharma commercial dynamics – able to connect data to business impact & translate analytics into executive-ready narratives
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills – ability to influence senior commercial leaders, GMs and cross-functional partners
