What you will do

Our Supply Planning team plays a key role in fulfilling Amgen’s mission. We ensure supply to patients in close to 100 markets in Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa Regions. As part of the operations team located in Breda, we are responsible for managing the short-, medium-- and long-term plans for incoming supplies for production and warehouse. The Amgen Breda site is Class A certified and widely recognized in the Amgen network for its capabilities to deal with high complexity, short lead times, and stable operation.

We are looking for a Detailed Scheduler to support our Supply Planning team: junior or experienced Supply Chain professional. Do you like new challenges? Then let’s do this. Let’s change the world.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage short-term production planning for packaging lines, ensuring timely delivery and stable supply chains to our patients.
  • Craft production plans, manage orders, drive timely delivery, and support phase-in-phase-out of products and launches.
  • Measuring weekly and monthly KPI’s for the Master Production Schedule Stability and setting actions towards stakeholders for improvement.
  • Participate and facilitate daily operational meetings to oversee performance and coordinate actions across departments.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and supply chain; lead weekly capacity meetings to align on realistic supply plans.
  • Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of processes in your daily work as well as in cross-functional projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analyses.
  • Demonstrate leadership in ensuring stable operations and supply chain efficiency while adhering to and within GMP and GDP guidelines.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a business, supply chain, science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience with supply chain planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis and problem-solving skills in a team environment.
  • Experience in regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is not required but will be beneficial.
  • Passionate about standardization and process automation. Interest and/or experience with Tableau, Smartsheet, Databricks, RPA is preferred.
  • To have enough connection with the shopfloor, this role will work hybrid with at least 3 days in the office on average.
