About this Job:

As Site Training & Development Manager, you are responsible for carrying out the training policy to all departments except for Production. The focus departments are Warehouse & Logistics, Quality Management and Technical Services & Facility Department. The Site Training & Development Manager works closely together with the Training & Development Manager (Production) and an Administrative Assistent. You will report to the Senior Manager Compliance.

The main goal is to support the Management Team, managers, and employees to maximize the effort of training activities.

In this job, you will:

  • Develop & maintain training material such as Training on the Job, Classroom training & E-learning especially in the areas of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and (SHE) Safety, Health & Environment.
  • Work with Super-admin of LMS (Learning Management System).
  • Manage the continuous training plan within his/her scope; the overall site training plan (budget) is a HR responsibility.
  • Manage cooperation with external vendors.
  • Advise management on training & learning issues & solutions within his/her scope.
  • Lead a diversity of projects to implement new methods and functionalities to enhance training activities continuously.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in working with IT systems like Microsoft 365 and Learning Management System.
  • Results, solution & customer orientated, flexible and proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, verbally as well in writing.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in an Industrial/Food/GMP/GDP environment are preferred.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and initiating innovations.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and stress-resistant, to be able to handle deadlines.

Education:

  • HBO Bachelor/Master of Education or equivalent.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 3 days per week in our Meppel office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
