Position Summary
Are you interested in structuring and improving QC training and training processes? Then this job is something for you!
The Senior Specialist QC Training serves as the QC representative and will be first point of contact in case of questions regarding QC training setup, assessments for training and new hires. You will also be monitoring and reporting training related KPI’s and review and propose improvements for QC related trainings. You will cover the full QC Leiden department and will be collaborating with multiple departments within BMS Leiden and Globally.
The unique opportunity at this moment is to be able to help build the Leiden QC Training process from the start.
This role is stationed in Leiden and reports to the Manager QC Training and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the QC representative and SME for QC training administration and coordination. Participate in cross-functional training forums, planning meetings for QC staff training, and project teams.
- Develop master training schedule for QC. Perform daily adjustments to training schedule as required.
- Review and report training performance to ensure efficient use of resources and achieve performance objectives. Develop tracking tools and metrics to monitor adherence to the established schedule and lead times.
- Monitor and report training adherence and effectiveness to ensure Right-First-Time lab operations. Develop associated tracking tools and metrics to monitor.
- Propose and implement improvements to training process to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Support QC Management in anticipating mid- to long-term training needs and constraints (personnel, equipment, and lab space). Support strategic proposals.
- Deliver QC new hire Door-to-Floor training. Train others on QC Training process and tools.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the QC laboratories
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in Science. MLO level 4 with experience will also be considered.
- 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience with adult learning, planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of Learning Management System applications and training curricula design.
