The Role
The Senior Manager of Communications support s the development and execution of internal and external communications , with a special focus on Research and Digital & AI communications and local communications in the Netherlands , under the supervision o f the Associate Director of Communications . Th e Senior Manager of Communications is based in Utrecht , the Netherlands , and reports to the Associate Director of Communications, based in Utrecht, t he Netherlands.
As a member of the G lobal Internal Communications Team , the Senior Manager also takes on global internal communications tasks .
Responsibilities

Executes assigned global internal communications strategies and programs to help drive employee engagement, contributing to the development of an inspirational narrative to keep our employees informed, connected, inspired , and engaged.

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Communications, the manager supports and executes Research and Digital & AI-specific internal communications.

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Communications, m anages internal c ommunications in our offices in the Netherlands . The role i s responsible for the d evelopment and e xecution of internal communications plans and deliverables at a site level in the Genmab NL offices , such as supporting local and global town halls , local events , and local internal media .

Supports both the Vice President of Internal Communications & Public Affairs, and the Associate Director of Communications, in the execution of Public Affairs and C SR-related activities in the Netherlands .

Is part of the Internal Communications Team and actively contributes to other global internal communications programs.

The p osition includes some limited international travel .
Requirements

H old s a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Communications , or a similar degree in Life Sciences with a strong focus on communications.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications , with a focus on experience in R& D communications especially , preferably in the Life Sciences industry.

Excellent communication skills in English , and preferably in Dutch .

Good project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion, execute projects to set goals, and gather metrics to measure success .

Adept at storytelling and editing raw content with a keen understanding of crafting narratives for various communication channels.

Understands the digital communications landscape and how this can be leveraged for internal comm unications , with a solid understanding of the latest developments in AI and machine learning .

Team player, ability to create a strong network across the company and across functions.
