In this position at Genmab, in Utrecht, you will work as ( Senior) Research Associate in the Product Discovery team, working on a broad set of in vitro and ex vivo experiments. As a member of project groups, you will be working on the development of therapeutic knock-your-socks-off antibodies. As (Senior) Research Associate Product Discovery, you will be responsible for studying the mechanism of action and anti-tumor activity of our antibody products. A challenging position in the latest biotechnology industry that lies in store for you, in which you can help us realize our mission to improve the lives of cancer patients.
Proactively work in a team of Scientists and Research Associates dedicated to the discovery of therapeutic antibody products;
With your up-to-date knowledge of and experience within the field of immunology, you are responsible for the accurate execution of experiments in assigned research studies;
Document and process test results, draw conclusions and report these to the team;
By investigating disease biology, antibody mode-of-action and antibody response using state-of-the-art technology, you contribute to the discovery of new antibody targets.
You enjoy taking responsibility of your own projects while being a true team player, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and to pro-actively work in an enthusiastic team. More specifically, we ask the following of you:
A completed HLO, Masters or equivalent in a relevant life science subject;
Approximately 3 years of relevant experience within immunology and tumor cell biology from either academia or industry is preferred;
Experience with primary cell isolations from human blood;
You have experience with flow cytometry and subsequence analysis;
Experience with cell culture, functional cellular assays (e.g. ADCP, Cytotoxicity assays) and related immunological techniques (e.g. Luminex, ELISA);
Understanding of electronic laboratory notebook reporting is advantageous;
Capability to run several experiments in parallel and work flexibly;
Excellent professional business level verbal and written communication skills in English.
