IT System Engineer

• De bestaande infrastructuur naar een toekomstbestendig niveau brengen door het upgraden en implementeren van industriestandaarden;
• Naast het up-to-date brengen van de infrastructuur zal ook monitoring en maintenance tot het takenpakket behoren;
• Het aanbrengen van structurele verbeteringen, ter ondersteuning van de eerste en tweedelijns-support;
• Het uitwerken van een stappen-plan, prioriteiten stelling en een dashboard om de organisatie stapsgewijs naar een verbeterde en gecontroleerde IT omgeving te brengen;
• Aandachtspunten zijn vulnerability scanning en management, server hardening en het inrichten van een security monitoring systeem. Dit doe je samen met je IT collega’s en leveranciers. Jouw rol is hierbij om er voor te zorgen dat er een technisch sterk systeem wordt neergezet en om als derdelijns systeembeheerder het overzicht over het gehele systeem te bewaren.

• Je hebt ervaring met verander projecten en implementatieprojecten;
• Bij voorkeur ervaring met security projecten;
• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als systeembeheerder;
• Een afgeronde MBO of HBO opleiding;
• Je hebt het Windows systeem beheer onder de knie en je weet hoe systemen en processen volgens ‘best practises’ horen te werken;
• Je bent goed thuis in VMWare en Citrix omgevingen en bent gewend om als derdelijns engineer te werken;
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.

Je bent communicatief vaardig, analytisch sterk, flexibel en hebt een sterk probleem oplossend vermogen. Je kan je vastbijten in een probleem en dit tot in de kleinste technische details uitzoeken. Hierbij bewaar je wel het overzicht van het gehele systeem. Je werkt goed samen met je collega’s en kan het voortouw nemen bij het verbeteren van de IT processen.
