The role:
- The role works at both a strategic and operational level with direct responsibility in supporting the regional relationship with a selected Online/e-marketplace Strategic Account and accelerate Category development growth in the Online environment at EMEA level. Reporting to Director KA and KA excellence EMA, Johnson & Johnson Vision.
- Responsible for selected Online/e-marketplace EMA Strategic Customers to shape strategies and to drive accelerated growth.
- Operate as a Center of excellence for Online/e-marketplace and Online Category management, disseminating best practices, setting the benchmark for EMA and developing critical capabilities in the Key Account/Category development community.
- This role has a strategic impact on the EMA business results by supporting the most emerging channel and largest customer in the region, and having strategic Category responsibility for this channel, often coordinating work across complex multifunctional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with Top Online/e-marketplace customers from a Regional Perspective, creating the platform for countries to drive growth and execute their local JBP’s. Work closely to regional stakeholders, both internally and at the customer to identify opportunities, influence and remove roadblocks. Development and implementation of a trade-marketing strategy of working in the field of e-commerce
- Shape and build ecommerce/e-marketplace strategy and plans at EMEA level. Support local team to unlock new business opportunities in the ecommerce/e-marketplace channel. Development of principles of CL category and ACUVUE brand representation the field of e-commerce and its implementation
- Support markets to deploy Online/e-marketplace Category management strategies with Top Online customers through different engagement forums, such as: run Strategic Workshops, engage on monthly calls with markets, Online forum etc, in order to help them meet their annual BP objectives and achieve sales, volume, share and profitability targets.
- Support local team in gaining agreement to strategic growth plans (JBP) with Online customers to deliver against the EMA strategy and maintain/monitor Commercial plans with few strategic customers at all levels to maximize on opportunities for partnership and sustainable growth.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance our value proposition, Category approach and business solutions to our Online customers across the region
- Support markets by engaging in in-market Category Strategic meetings with their top Online/e-marketplace accounts per request
- Operate as a center of excellence for Online/e-marketplace and Category Management, disseminating best practices and setting the benchmark for EMA. Liaise with the Commercial Learning and Development department to build the training and capability agenda to ensure competitive advantage.
- Supporting the local team across the region ensuring the organization follows the accurate processes, for developing, setting, agreeing and tracking their JBP's with online/e-marketplace customers. Development of tools for the growth of CLs category and ACUVUE brand for key customers in the field of e-commerce – 1P & 3P and analysis of its efficiency
- Support markets to explore and build new channels (e-marketplace) or new online business opportunities
- Ensures that the organization is Credo focused and motivated to win, acting always in compliance and business integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 10+ experience both in Online and/or e-marketplace companies is required
- Extensive Online Key Accounting (or Online Sales Management) experience AND Online Category Management is required
- Experience in Online/e-marketplace companies and in FMCG is strongly recommended
- Experience of cooperation with e-com platforms
- Track record of success in delivering results, managing budgets, coordinating complex multifunctional teams
- Excellent negotiation skills and analytical skills
- Fluent English (other European languages are an added benefit)
- Experience in working at both local and Regional level is an added benefit
