The intern will be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices as well as the Kite production process and will be able to function as a Cell Therapy Specialist before the end of the internship. At the start of the internship, the intern will receive training from the dedicated training team on basic GMP and the Kite production process (e.g. aseptic handlings, cleanroom gowning, cell culture techniques) for a period of 6-8 weeks. Interns will need to become successfully trained on the relevant parts of the production process as well as Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices during the first 6-8 weeks of internship. After that they join one of the rotating shift-teams to work on the production of cell therapy treatments and will be assigned an improvement project aimed at increasing quality and/or efficiency of the product and production process.
