Wanneer  geneesmiddelen door de EMA zijn goedgekeurd is het van groot belang dat deze geneesmiddelen voor elke patient beschikbaar komen (en blijven). Met alle discussies over stijgende zorgkosten en de kosten van (dure) geneesmiddelen staat deze toegankelijkheid onder druk, zowel op nationaal als decentraal nivo. De omgeving verandert snel en is blijvend uitdagend en steeds complexer, vandaar dat toegankelijkheid van onze geneesmiddelen een key prioriteit voor Lilly Nederland is.

De functie Senior Associate-Market Access voor Hospital products heeft als belangrijkste doelstelling om de toegankelijkheid van intramurale geneesmiddelen in de ziekenhuizen te realiseren en te optimaliseren.

Primair uitgangspunt is de therapeutische waarde van het product voor patiënt en behandelaar. Daarnaast kan prijs ook een belangrijke rol spelen.

Om succesvol te kunnen functioneren werk je nauw samen in een crossfunctioneel team rond de klant. Je hebt uitstekende kennis van de hospital Health Care Practitioner (HCP) payer journey en je bent op de hoogte van relevante onwikkelingen in de ziekenhuizen in jouw gebied, maar ook ontwikkelingen in het zorgveld nationaal.

Je creeert een breed netwerk van key payers in de ziekenhuizen. Je bent in staat om inhoudelijke discussies over de Lilly hospital producten te voeren en je kan ook breed inhoudelijk discussieren over ontwikkelingen binnen de zorg.


  • Creëren van een netwerk van key payers in de tweede & derde lijn in samenwerking met Therapeutic Advisors (o.a. inkopers, ziekenhuisapothekers, zorgverkopers, inkoopgroepen, medisch managers en RVE managers).
  • Uitstekend begrip van de hospital payer HCP journey.
  • Het actief bijhouden van relevante ontwikkelingen en deze kunnen doorvertalen naar bruikbare business solutions.
  • Contract-onderhandelingen voeren met Hospital Payers, waarbij wordt gestreefd naar een optimale waarde voor de klant EN Lilly.
  • Het bedenken & opstellen van financial business cases voor local & IBU approval.
  • In samenwerking met de Therapeutic Advisor organiseren van Strategic Account Meetings (SAMs), waarin op account basis actieplannen worden gecreëerd en worden geïmplementeerd.

Planning & Organizing : Planning, organises one’s own work to ensure achievement of desired results; meeting objectives in optimal fashion; reporting on results to promote accountability and act as appropriate (in discussion with the Market Access & B2B Director).

Negotiates: Understands the viewpoint of the client. Can negotiate with the client within the parameters set by the Director. Closes deals which meet the needs of client and Lilly, which will benefit the longer-term relationship.

Influencing/Persuading: Develops and uses subtle strategies to influence others . Asserts own ideas and persuades others, gaining support and commitment from others; mobilizes people to act, using creative approaches.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a resident of the Netherlands ( West Nederland );

  • Speak and write fluently in Dutch and English;

  • Be able to achieve long-term relationships;

  • Be a creative contributor;

  • Be a well of good ideas and new strategic innovations;

  • Have the irrepressible optimism of an entrepreneur;

  • Maintain a positive attitude in times of diversity through sheer tenacity;

  • Has skills to work in a hybrid environment, so can make fluent interactions as well face to face as virtual

  • Not thinking in IF it is possible but in HOW it is possible;
