Statistical Programmer

We are looking for an experienced statistical programmer to support daily statistical programming tasks for all phases of Merus clinical trials including oversight of CRO statistical programming activities and support other functional areas such as data management and biostatistics
The Biometrics team consists of 9 highly collaborative and engaging professionals. As part of this international cross-functional team, you will support the development of revolutionary bispecific antibody therapeutics. Joining Merus means joining our pursuit to develop advanced therapies that address unmet needs in cancer treatment. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Biometrics.

Your role:

As our experienced statistical programmer you will provide expert-level hands-on support to the clinical trial team, daily statistical programming tasks and Oversight of statistical programming activities at CROs. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Input and review of SAPs, TFL shells, eCRF, DTS
  • Review of SDTM and ADAM specifications and datasets
  • Programming of safety summaries periodically for internal data review
  • Exploratory analyses for clinical trials to support internal decision making, publications, responses to health authority questions, business development activities
  • Development of acceptance checks of CRO deliverables

Your profile:

The successful statistical programmer will have strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present information.
This is then backed up with the following:
  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with oncology trials
  • Working knowledge of RECIST 1.1 and CTCAE
  • Familiarity with CDISC SDTM and ADaM implementation, especially TU/TR/RS domains and time to event analysis.
  • Good analytical skills and SAS programming proficiency
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision with accuracy and thoroughness
