Our Human Health International team is passionate about bringing our medicines to patients around the world and delivering on innovative go-to-market strategies. We are looking for an Associate Director, Global Chronic Cough Marketing to help lead LYFNUA’s brand strategy development, make decisions on data-driven insights, elevate our digital customer engagement approach, and work collaboratively to get things done across the enterprise.

LYFNUA is a first-in-class P2X3 inhibitor indicated for the treatment of refractory or unexplained chronic cough in adults, and the first medicine specifically approved for this indication in Europe.

Position Overview:

This Associate Director position will report to the International Commercial Lead and be responsible for helping lead the Global strategy for our Company’s investigational, first-in-disease and first-in-class drug for the treatment of refractory/unexplained chronic cough (RCC/UCC) currently in the near-term launch phase. Our mission is to bring relief to chronic cough patients around the world – RCC/UCC is a disease that is not widely recognized but which creates significant negative impact on a person’s physical, social, and mental health, negatively impacting their quality of life and contributing to high utilization of healthcare systems and resources. We are working to bring awareness to the unmet medical need for refractory/unexplained chronic cough to consumers, healthcare providers, & scientific leaders. The purview of this Associate Director could span across segments and projects, as we move through the phased Global launches for the brand and further embed an Agile approach to roles and responsibilities. Help design the future while contributing to a critical launch for our Company and for patients!

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with European markets to ensure consistent strategic understanding and planning to enable successful launches
  • Develop and execute on global Brand, HCP and HCC strategies, leading across the extended global team and successfully engaging with markets
  • Leading ongoing analytic and market research insights to solidify segment strategy, forecast model assumptions, targeting, segmentation, positioning, leverage points, customer journey maps and stakeholder influencers
  • Identifying opportunities for markets or segments to enhance digital engagement to elevate brand success
  • Providing oversight of promotion budget to optimize investments across audiences and channels
  • Coordinate forecasting and supply to maximise opportunity and minimise discards.
  • Serve as a representative of International Marketing on cross functional teams and projects

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Significant experience in combined marketing, marketing support, sales and/or market access
  • Strong financial/business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to effectively influence without authority
  • Proactive leadership skills and able to drive projects to successful completion across the organisation
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and presentation skills
