Location: Netherlands - Capelle Ad Ijssel

About the role

In this role you are the expert of all the Purchase Order (PO) creations and follow-up`s for the commercial organization (departments reporting to the Country Manager). You will be in charge of the full end-to-end administrative service & support and you will act as a master in payments. You will provide the commercial organization with important financial support with insights and reports of PO status and budget overviews.

You will work in team of Assistants and together you are responsible for the support to the commercial organization. You will be a back-up for the Assistant Customer Interactions and vice versa. Next to your expert role you will support the commercial organisation with general administrative support such as meeting logistics , internal communication , orderin g catering etc.

Main responsibilities

  • You are in charge to provide an end-to-end administrative service/support (in line with Pfizer Policies)

  • Being the subject matter expert m anag ing purchase orders for the commercial organization in the Netherlands through the relevant systems

  • You will act as a master in payments (full onboarding & training foreseen at start)

  • Deliver insights to business colleagues for their budget planning, by tracking payments of invoices on a regular base

  • Resolve and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner . Escalate any problems if needed

  • Explain the process to colleagues and vendors

  • Provide logistic and administrative support to the commercial organization during internal and external meeting planning ( f.e . department meetings, Lunch & Learns, One Pfizer meetings)

  • Responsible for placing communication on our local intranet and screens

  • Supporting streamlining communication channels internally (TEAMS)

  • Appropriate handling of sensitive and confidential correspondence

  • Provide other general administrative support

About you

  • Personality: A utonomous but also a real team player , p ro-active , p roblem solver with an eye for detail , service minded while being decisive

  • Competences: Accurate , a bility to manage multiple projects and multiple tasks “simultaneously” and to prioritize work , f lexible to adapt to changing business needs , strong interpersonal skills, keen for continuous improvement & master in planning & organizing

  • Education : HBO or MBO

  • Work Experience: at least 2+ years’ experience as Assistant (administrative services & financial management )

  • Knowledge: Proven experience in administrative systems e.g. MS Office, SAP (Ariba Buy on Demand)

  • Language: Fluent in Dutch and working business English language skills
