Who are we looking for

Our future colleague for this position enjoys collaborating in a multi-disciplinary technical environment to address technical problems within multi-cultural team. If you enjoy the introduction of software solutions on top of high-performance systems, this is an excellent opportunity to change the world. This role handles tasks and projects in the Technical Support Department in order to improve its efficiency. And provides technical communication between Production, R&D Global Digital, BU and Global Tech Support.

  • Provides „root cause“ analysis and actively takes part in resolving technical issues.
  • Collects, analyzes and reports data for the purpose of solving problems and improving company’s inner processes, including parts information.

This role provides worldwide 3rd line technical support up to various Digital products delivered and connected with our Electron Microscopes. It foresees in postmortem analysis for solved support calls, and collaboration on/leading continuous improvement processes. All while continuously driving improvement via MyPPI, CAPA and NPI projects.

How to get there

This role requires at least a bachelor’s degree of Software, Information Technology or a combination of both education and meaningful work experience. Experience with global SW projects spanning multiple product groups and IT product introductions is an advantage. Ideal candidate possesses strong social skills, written and verbal including English written and spoken min. level B2. Including affinity with software applications and computer hardware

  • Ability and wish to travel internationally (less than 25% of working hours).
  • Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate in a team.
  • Knowledge and experience in Product Data Management (ECR\\O or NPI) is of an advantage

Superb communication (both face-to-face as via mail) and influencing skills including knowing how to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences is important to the success in this position
