THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Business Analyst HP MIDI, you will play a key role in developing analytics and insights capabilities across the Human Pharma organization. You will be responsible for managing primary and secondary data related processes for the MIDI region, and will also be accountable for the regional forecasting process & Primary Market Research (PMR).

Furthermore, you will provide actionable market, customer and competitive intelligence insights to shape brand strategy and improve decision making in the relevant markets – based on regular or ad-hoc analysis.

This role is based in our office in Amsterdam, in the new EDGE Amsterdam West, a building with a modern and very sustainable architecture. You will report directly to the Head of Business Excellence HP MIDI.

 

HOW YOU’LL FIT IN:

  • Analyze brand/market performance & customer experience from different data sources & provide recommendations to optimize strategy and/or execution.
  • Act as consultant for senior management and collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to generate actionable insights and support capability building in analytics & insights.
  • Ensure KPIs are defined to track business transformation on GTM and measure impact of key activities.
  • Provide short and long-term forecasts for individual brand performance; including alternative forecast scenarios associated with changes in market events/assumptions.
  • Define and govern the regional process, incl the provision of forecasting models.
  • Regular communication and training of process & models across the MIDI region.
  • Serve as consultant for MIDI OPUs regarding local primary market research projects.
  • Serve as a primary business partner, by defining and coordinating field research across MIDI countries.
  • Analyze and interpret PMR results to agree on conclusions and actions.

 

YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor degree and/or Diploma Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Business Analysis, Finance or Marketing (MBA or another advanced degree is a plus).
  • Around 4 years of experience in a business analysis role.
  • Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry.
  • Experience in digital marketing analytics (web analysis, conversion funnel, customer experience).
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Strong business & customer acumen.
  • Agile professional - able to inspire, multi-task and laterally lead people.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Demonstrated ability to steer and achieve results in an international matrix organization.
  • Experience with tools of primary and secondary research and data analysis, including data visualization & analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills.
  • Excellent project & stakeholder management skills.
  • Team-player with experience working in diverse teams.
