Associate Quality Assurance (Incoming QA)

At Amgen Breda medicines are labelled, assembled, stored and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people with 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

As Associate Quality Assurance, you will be part of the Incoming QA team, playing a critical role ensuring a continuous and compliant flow of materials into ABR production, supporting both commercial and clinical supply through strong collaboration and quality excellence.

In this vital role you will:

  • Execute sampling and inspection of incoming materials, including commercial and clinical printed and non‑printed packaging components and devices.
  • Perform review and release of incoming materials in accordance with applicable procedures and quality requirements.
  • Collect data and initiate follow‑up with internal stakeholders (e.g. Warehouse, Supply Chain, External Supply) and/or Amgen suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Initiate, document, and own minor deviations, ensuring timely investigation and closure.
  • Perform reserve sample inspections to support product complaint investigations, deviations, or the annual reserve sample inspection process.
  • Execute additional sampling, inspection, and damage assessment of received components as required

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The detail‑oriented and collaborative Quality professional we seek is someone eager to learn, take ownership, and work confidently in a regulated environment, with these qualifications:

  • MBO or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferably around three years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and/or Good Distribution Practice (GDP), with the ability to interpret and apply requirements in routine situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, structured way of working, and a quality‑first mindset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
