The Opportunity:

As a People Services Operations specialist at Astellas Pharma, you will play a key role in maintaining employee satisfaction by providing accurate and timely support to both our organization and its stakeholders. Collaborating closely with the People Operations team, you will help ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, while fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes employee well-being. Your contributions will directly support our mission to “Change Tomorrow™” by enhancing the employee experience and reinforcing our commitment to healthcare innovation.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Accountable for delivering a consistently excellent customer experience in end-to-end lifecycle query resolution
  • Maintain process, policy, and procedural knowledge to ensure the accuracy of advice provided to customers
  • Execute administrative processes across the scope of services provided by People Operations
  • Analyze unresolved customer requests and recommend service quality improvements
  • Ensure query resolution meets and exceeds agreed service level agreements and internal performance benchmarks

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Medical affairs experience in companion diagnostics development within the pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent experience in the diagnostics sector
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory environments, and market access pathways for companion diagnostics
  • Proven leadership in driving companion diagnostics and precision medicine initiatives within a pharmaceutical or diagnostics organization
  • Strong scientific analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic acumen and project management expertise
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English

Preferred Experience:


  • Experience with benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Location: Munich, Germany.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
