Medical Advisor Women's Health (Menopause) - Benelux

The Medical/Scientific Advisor for Women’s Health (Menopause) in the Benelux (BNL) region serves as the primary scientific expert in the therapeutic area of Women’s Health (Menopause). This position is responsible for proactively delivering training, scientific guidance, and strategic insight to both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the broader scientific community.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a strategic partner with product and customer teams to implement the brand strategy in accordance with good medical practice.
  • Collaborate and align medical objectives and priorities to be consistent with the overall brand strategy.
  • Drive the localization of the global medical and brand strategy within the Benelux region.
  • Give medical input into and co-develop multichannel campaigns together with cross-functional partners.
  • Foster strategic partnerships by working closely with local cross-functional teams and the Country Medical Director.
  • Align evidence generation initiatives with both medical and brand strategies.
  • Provide medical expertise and support to clinical trial teams, specifically regarding interventional clinical trials, Observational Studies (OS), Real World Evidence (RWE) plans, and Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) as required locally.
  • Review and interpret analytics and field insights to manage and optimise medical content, as well as adapt the evidence generation plan, for example in National Advisory Boards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders and key external stakeholder groups within Medical Affairs.
  • Lead medical advisory boards and coordinate scientific medical educational programmes.
  • Offer medical support on internal projects and ensure compliance of all Bayer medical activities with relevant guidelines, regulations, and legislations.
  • Provide scientific education and training to cross-functional partners, and review and approve all therapeutic area or product-related materials.
  • Manage external communications, documenting and processing locally escalated medical queries, in accordance with local Medical Information procedures.
  • Offer cross-functional advice using medical and scientific expertise.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (such as Medicine, Pharmacy, etc.).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharma industry in medical affairs.
  • Demonstrated passion for women’s health and Menopauze.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical code applicable to the country.
  • Preferred experience in managing and implementing medical strategies for various pharmaceutical brands.
  • Experience in clinical research and trial management, with the ability to interact authoritatively with key stakeholders and investigators.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management and network building.
  • Business acumen, including the ability to operate cross-functionally, drive organisational growth, and understand marketing and sales functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Highly organised and able to work autonomously.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English, along with strong intercultural skills.
