Microbiology Analyst Quality Control (Temporary)

Your role
The Quality Control department is responsible for GMP testing on complex protein molecules covering a wide range of activities. As Microbiology Analyst, you are primarily responsible for performing microbiological release and in-process testing for biopharmaceutical drug intermediates and drug substances. Other responsibilities include quality control activities for our production facilities including collection of Environmental Monitoring data in the cleanrooms as well as collection and analysis of samples from pharmaceutical grade water systems. You are able to work within a team of analysts and to clearly and timely communicate your results and related issues to your direct colleagues. The position offers potential for career growth within an expanding team.

What do you need to succeed in this role?
Ownership of activities with a mindset on precision and quality of your own and your colleague's work. A natural team player with an attitude to collaborate and communicate as well as being flexible to act in a fast changing and demanding environment. You are result-oriented and use proactivity and creativity as your methodology to find solutions. You are self-motivated which enables you to work with a high degree of independence

  • Bachelor degree (HLO) or MLO level 4, with a specialization in Microbiology or related field
  • 1- 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory
  • Experience with GMP/GLP
  • Knowledge of microbiological assays (environmental monitoring, water testing, bioburden, endotoxin)
  • You are able to act in a coordinating role, are quality minded and work accurately
  • Good knowledge of the English language is preferred
