Technical Writer Internship

Primarily assist Procurement & Supply Chain team in creating and updating all documentation, user manuals, how-to guides, and systems. You will collaborate with the team to learn about technical documentation and concepts and figure out how to simplify technical information into easy-to-understand text.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to get a basic understanding of the documentation requirements and specifications

• Learn about technical documentation and concepts adopted by our company

• Brainstorm with the development team to figure out how to simplify technical information for end-users

• Edit and proofread all technical documents before submitting them to the editors or your supervisors

• Assist in creating high-quality documentation, guides, manuals, and tutorials

• Review and update documentation when required

• Review and update existing master data ledgers

To join our team as a Technical Writer Intern, you should comply with the following requirements:

• Pursuing an adequate degree in higher education (e.g. English, Information Management, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field)

• Proficiency in written and verbal English (French is a plus)

• Office tools proficiency (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) is a must

• Familiarity with technical concepts regarding procurement processes and documentation

• Adaptability in writing style. Understanding of basic formatting and grammar

• Great research skills

• Accountable and organized

• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of software languages, development models and tools is a plus
