Technical Writer Internship
Job description
Primarily assist Procurement & Supply Chain team in creating and updating all documentation, user manuals, how-to guides, and systems. You will collaborate with the team to learn about technical documentation and concepts and figure out how to simplify technical information into easy-to-understand text.
Responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to get a basic understanding of the documentation requirements and specifications

Learn about technical documentation and concepts adopted by our company

Brainstorm with the development team to figure out how to simplify technical information for end-users

Edit and proofread all technical documents before submitting them to the editors or your supervisors

Assist in creating high-quality documentation, guides, manuals, and tutorials

Review and update documentation when required

Review and update existing master data ledgers
Job requirements
To join our team as a Technical Writer Intern, you should comply with the following requirements:

Pursuing an adequate degree in higher education (e.g. English, Information Management, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field)

Proficiency in written and verbal English (French is a plus)

Office tools proficiency (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) is a must

Familiarity with technical concepts regarding procurement processes and documentation

Adaptability in writing style. Understanding of basic formatting and grammar

Great research skills

Accountable and organized

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Knowledge of software languages, development models and tools is a plus
