Infrastructure Architect

The Role

Genmab is expanding our Infrastructure team and seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join our team in either The Netherlands or Denmark.

The Architect provides support, implementation, and design services for Windows-based systems Network Solutions, IAM and Security for our corporate network and laboratories, across the enterprise


As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving our Microsoft systems and Fortinet network infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker who can seamlessly bridge the gap between operations, lab engineering, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT architecture, with a focus on enhancing system performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect Microsoft systems and Fortinet network infrastructure to support corporate and laboratory environments.
  • Collaborate with operations, lab engineering, and security teams to ensure cohesive and efficient IT solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system scalability, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide Training and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Serve as escalation point, for solutions implemented and requirements for new services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role.
  • Expertise in designing and managing Microsoft systems (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet network solutions and security protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.

Please note that if you are applying for a position in the Netherlands, Genmab’s policy for all permanently budgeted hires in NL is initially to offer a fixed-term employment contract for a year, if the employee performs well and if the business conditions do not change, renewal for an indefinite term may be considered after the fixed-term employment contract.
