The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Global HR Operations team! Join us at the intersection of cutting-edge science and global operations where you will dive into the dynamic world of HR technology within a thriving corporate biotech setting. Here you will gain valuable experience working with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), a key system used to support and drive our growing global organization.

This internship offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at how HR systems enable our business to deliver on its impactful journey. You will not only learn how these systems function day-to-day, but also identify bottlenecks, suggest improvements, and play a hands-on role in making our tools and processes more effective and engaging for our people.

Don't worry if you're not familiar with Workday, or have limited HR systems knowledge: we welcome eager learners like you! As long as you're familiar with Microsoft Office applications and have a creative flair to make learning engaging, we will get there together.


Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of training materials to employees, managers, and the HR colleagues.
  • Help identify difficulties and bottlenecks in our current HR processes and systems, and be part of the solution.
  • Create intuitive and engaging reference materials.
  • Work with Workday HCM on configuration, data harmonization, reporting, and system clean-up activities.
  • Collaborate with the team on system enhancements, data harmonization, and process improvements
  • Bring a creative eye to our communication tools to make learning about HR systems clear and engaging.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that support Genmab’s growth and operational excellence.


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in your final year in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent at a Dutch university. Please note that you need to be actively enrolled over the course of this internship.
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Creative mindset to ensure the reference material produced is intuitive and engaging for the audience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive and energetic approach with a focus on quality of delivery.
  • Proactive, curious, and excited about learning in a fast-paced international environment!

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • An interest in HR technology and how it drives business in a corporate setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an international or diverse team environment.
  • Experience or interest in working with Workday or similar HR systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

General Intern Information

  • Internship duration: 6–12 months
  • Start date: preferably September 1st, or later.
  • Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
  • This is a fulltime hybrid internship position: at least 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week.
