The Role
As Manager, ERP Finance & Data Business Analytics you are a member of the Global SAP Finance Center of Excellence within Genmab’s Corporate Controller’s organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously enhancing Genmab’s global finance data analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in finance end-to-end processes and SAP platforms to drive efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and process automation.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration with global finance teams and key stakeholders. The incumbent will analyze business operations, propose innovative solutions, and drive process improvements while ensuring alignment with business objectives throughout Genmab’s end-to-end value chains (ATR, STP, SCM, OTC). Effective change management and leadership skills are essential to obtain agreement from stakeholders for system and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support stakeholders need data access, extraction, and reporting to enhance decision-making.
- Utilize data mining and analytics tools to develop insights across multiple finance areas, supporting both statutory and management reporting.
- Identify and implement innovative technical and process-based solutions, including system enhancements, automation, and AI-driven analytics.
- Develop scalable data-driven content and financial reports for use by business stakeholders to measure financial performance and efficiency.
- Lead the functional design and development of reports and dashboards, following Genmab's project documentation standards (process flows, user manuals, training materials, etc.).
- Explore diverse data sources to uncover insights that enhance business strategies and operational efficiencies.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by influencing business processes and recommending actionable insights.
- Document data sources and promote their wider use within the organization to enhance data literacy and analytics maturity.
- Develop and implement AI-driven predictive analytics models to support long-term financial forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements in finance, ensuring that automation, machine learning, and data science capabilities are integrated into ERP finance solutions.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance current and future capabilities in finance (automation, machine learning, AI…), for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Finance & Controlling with expertise in SAP and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong proficiency in business intelligence (e.g. AI, machine learning, Power Automate) and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Adaptive Insights, TM1, or similar tools).
- Scouting skills focused on researching and identifying new applications and features to enhance and improve existing processes and business applications.
- Holistic vision mindset-ability to see the bigger picture, connect data insights to broader business objectives, and drive strategic impact across functions.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking and data driven analytical skills.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and collaborative working style.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including external consultants.
- Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries is highly preferred.
