Senior Manager, DD&AI Ops & Project Management

The Role

Genmab is looking for a Manager of Operations and Project Management to join the Data, Digital & AI team . This role will be responsible for designing a technology-first approach to drive execution of all digital & AI transformational initiatives in the organization, identify potential gaps and risks, and work with cross-functional teams to find and implement solutions.

This role can be located in either Netherlands, Denmark, or US.

Responsibilities

  • Operations management, tracking and reporting for the DD&AI team; responsibilities include but not limited to:
    • Define approach to track technology operational metrics for the team, examples include:
      • Portfolio of technology products at Genmab
      • Cloud performance
      • Infrastructure resiliency
      • Quality of technology services for the organization
    • Review operational metrics, work with teams to identify areas of pain points, and define solutions to address
    • Continuously identify and act on opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve quality of metrics planning, tracking and reporting
  • Project management of key strategic initiatives for DD&AI, for example:
    • Operational improvement efforts within DD&AI, e.g., implementation of software lifecycle management tools, vendor management
    • Implementation of new technological capabilities in partnership with functional teams
    • Targeted issue resolution, e.g., delays in contracting, delays in environment access
    • Technology-enabled process re-design in collaboration with functional teams, e.g., acceleration of trial timelines, AI-enabled drug discovery

Suggested qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; scientific, technology or engineering background preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or operational roles
  • Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Excellent attention and orientation toward meticulous work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Experience with agile project management methodology preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and project management programs, e.g., Jira, SmartSheet
  • Experience working within the life sciences industry preferred

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$130,320.00---$195,480.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
