Job Purpose:
As Key Account Manager, you are representing GSK and our hematology portfolio to our customers. In this role you are responsible for developing and executing your regional account plans to differentiate our portfolio with relevant stakeholders in your region. We are looking for a person with experience with field-based roles within the hospital environment, in-depth understanding of the hospital ecosystem and existing network within hematologists.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value accounts, including hospitals, health systems, and key decision-makers such as oncologists, hematologists, and C-suite executives.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of each account’s strategic goals, value drivers, and unique challenges to tailor solutions and drive adoption of blood cancer therapies.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Create and execute strategic account plans focused on business growth, market access, and product adoption, aligned with both company and customer objectives.
- Identify and manage key stakeholders and influencers within accounts to support clinical advocacy and ensure inclusion on formularies, EMRs, and provider pathways.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, medical, marketing, market access) to align strategies, coordinate resources, and ensure seamless execution of commercial plans.
Customer Engagement & Education
- Lead engagement activities with healthcare professionals (HCPs), sharing promotional materials to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Organize promotional events, commercial advisory boards and specific regional / local events and projects to strengthen partnerships
Market Insights & Feedback
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing actionable insights and feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
- Analyze sales data and account performance to identify opportunities and optimize business strategies.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, including timely reporting of adverse events and maintaining accurate CRM records.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in experience (e.g. Business Management, Life science)
- 3 years+experience in hematology or oncology portfolio
- Proven track record of successfully building long term relationships and partnerships with healthcare stakeholders
- Oversight of regional hematology stakeholder landscape
- Experience with launching product(s).
- Excellent communication skills and project management skills
- Account management experience
- Fluent communication in English and Dutch
