As Key Account Manager, you are representing GSK and our vaccines portfolio to our customers. In this role you are responsible for developing and executing your account plans to commercially drive the vaccines portfolio that are reimbursed via GVS/OZP with relevant stakeholders in your hospitals. We are looking for a person with experience and existing network within hospitals (e.g. infectiologists, microbiologists rheumatologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologist, hematologists)

As Key Account Manager, you gain deep insights in the patient pathways from hospital until point of vaccination and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to maximize the number of eligible patients that can benefit from our vaccines. We are looking for a person with experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a hospital setting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for delivering the business objectives for the specific accounts and specific portfolio (vaccines)

  • Be accountable to develop and execute personalized strategic account plans to drive value and deliver growth, including innovative marketing strategies.

  • Develop and execute robust channel business plan leveraging face-to-face as well as digital engagements to create a personalized omni-channel experience for customers.

  • Support the implementation of key marketing campaign and trade offers in assigned accounts to enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market.

  • Explore opportunities for customer/patient activation and navigate these with customers and internal stakeholders in preparation of the co-ownership for new launches.

  • Forecasts the assigned accounts sales.

  • Develops and executes solutions to address performance gaps for assigned accounts. Proposes activities to enhance performance and competitivity for GSK portfolio within assigned accounts.

  • Establish and cultivate effective commercial relationships for listing of GSK products, co-ownership of strategic plans.

  • Manage relationships with decision makers, and other stakeholders for each strategic account to ensure optimal access for GSK brands.

  • Maintain high level of customer service by identifying and resolving customer queries and problems proactively. Finding joint value propositions with key/strategic stakeholders in order to create innovative health care and value-added solutions.

  • Ensure key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated, and informed to drive growth.

  • Continuously identify customer insights to drive performance and business opportunities. Follow up on progress and outcome.

  • Accountable for crossfunctional collaboration to deliver objectives aligned with GSK strategic priorities. Brings field and customer insights and ideas into brandteams and collaborates with Market Access, Medical, and Digital Marketing Team to expedite patient access to our vaccines.

  • Maps the full patient journey until moment of vaccination, collects needs and insights via regular communication with physicians, healthcare stakeholders and patient organizations & identifies areas/opportunities for strategic focus of customer-related activities

Basic Qualifications :

  • University degree or equivalent in experience (e.g. Business Management, Lifescience)

  • Knowledge Share, Communication & negotiation skills

  • Project Management skills

  • Oversight of stakeholder landscape

  • Proven track record of successfully dealing and partnering with multiple stakeholders in hospitals

  • Understands hospitals function

  • Account management experience

  • Resilience

  • Fluent communication in English and Dutch
