ICON is seeking a Systems Validation Specialist to join our international team. You will initiate and organize validation activities across our clinic, clinical chemistry laboratory, and pharmacy (including cleanrooms) in both Groningen and Assen. You will also support validation projects across the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, and the United States. This role offers close collaboration with pharmacists, IT, QA professionals, and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and qualify equipment and computerized systems in accordance with ICON procedures

• Support internal and external stakeholders in validation processes or act as project leader

• Write and review documentation supporting validation and qualification activities

• Continuously improve processes and quality

• Share validation knowledge with stakeholders

• Answer regulatory questions and assist with audits

Your profile

• MBO+ or HBO level of education and thinking

• Strong knowledge of validation, particularly computerized systems

• Familiarity with GMP, GCP, or GLP regulations; cleanroom knowledge is a plus

• Affinity for technology and IT systems

• Excellent communication skills; quality- and solution-oriented

• Independent, proactive, and English fluent (written & spoken)
