We invite you to join our Dutch organization as part of the Market Access team as a Market Access manager!

As a Market Access Manager, you will be an integral part of the HEMAR (Health economics, market access and reimbursement) team. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing the market access strategy for current and future medicinal products of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in the Netherlands. Therefore, you will be the market access representative in a cross-functional team. Next to that, you have strong expertise in pharmacoeconomic modelling, and support colleagues on other reimbursement dossiers with modelling know-how. This role requires the ability to develop and implement market access strategies combined with technical modelling expertise.

Primary Duties

  • You develop and execute the optimal market access strategy for obtaining reimbursement in the Netherlands in line with the cross-functional plan.
  • You are an integral part of the cross-functional team where you provide the market access perspective and co-develop the broader product strategy.
  • Strategically plan/co-create and execute stakeholder plans.
  • You have a key role in the operating company departments to integrate market access strategies and cooperate with national and international cross-functional teams.
  • You contribute to the European strategies and align local strategies.
  • Ensure dossiers are in line with the pharmaceutical economic (FE) requirements for the Netherlands and ensure consistent quality.
  • You are responsible for supervising the procedural requirements regarding reimbursement and managing the necessary documentation and administration. This includes a focus on shorter turnaround times and successful evaluations by ZIN under the FE guidelines.
  • Provide additional support and flexibility during peak periods, ensuring the quality and timely completion of FE dossiers.
  • Build a vision for business strategy regarding strategic decisions in FE analyses, such as positioning of MEA in FE, and practical implementations of structured expert elicitation and VOI analysis requirements.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the Dutch HealthCare System and proven Market Access Expertise
  • A health-economics background, PhD in Health Economics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • A minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or consultancy, in a market access and health economics role.
  • A creative problem solver with a track record of successfully implementing new initiatives.
  • Experience in cost-effectiveness modelling in excel and R
  • Proficient in written and spoken Dutch and English.
  • Affinity with a commercial work environment.

  • Able to zoom in on details while maintaining the broader picture. Able to translate findings in key take aways on business impact.
  • Flexibility and comfort in challenging environments with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while excelling in matrix collaborations and being an excellent team player.

Standard probation period of 1 year with possibility to extend.
