What you will be doing:


As a Manufacturing Supervisor you support organizational objectives and business goals. You will also implement project terms to meet the objectives and goals of the Operations unit. You ensure compliance with established processes for strategic plans and serve as a primary point of contact for team members. You maintain high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment while keeping the Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in your day-to-day interactions.

  • Is required to understand and comply with the Code of Business Conduct, Company policies and laws that govern their activities.
  • Responsible for achieving production targets.
  • Supervises individual contributors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Includes ensuring the team is properly staffed and trained to perform their duties to the required level.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adequately follow up when improvements are needed. This includes documenting day-to-day activities and resources and escalates any concerns or issues to leaders to maximize successful business results.

The responsibilities and the impact YOU will have:

  • Develops working knowledge of standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.
  • Completes tasks for the support function within the Operations unit, and follows administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Adheres to standard operating procedures to support tasks and team needs related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical (new) products.
  • Foster a LEAN culture through Root Cause Problem Solving, manage Tier 1, and address performance issues.
  • Conduct spot checks on standardized work, observe shopfloor behaviour, and sign pitch chart visuals. This includes performing of Gemba walks, observe processes, and confirm their effectiveness.
  • Learns process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in my organization by holding myself and team accountable for building an inclusive culture and executing diversity strategies to attract, develop, advance, and retain talent that reflects the diverse communities we serve.

Qualifications

We would love to hear from YOU, if you have the following essential requirements:

MBO-4 degree requires HBO-assessed thinking level and one of the qualifications listed below:

  • Relevant MBO-4 degree with at least 5 years' relevant experience
  • Non-relevant MBO-4 degree with at least 7 years' relevant experience.
  • MBO-4 degree with 3 years of people leader experience.
  • Fluent in English is required. Fluent in Dutch is a plus.
  • The levels of computer proficiency are intermediate level for MS office and entry level for data analysis.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that influences team morale and productivity.
  • Lead by example in maintaining calmness and composure during challenging situations.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership.
  • Ability to work on a shift roster.
