JJDC, the venture arm with investors in these locations, brings a global presence of 14 investors with ten to thirty years of domain experience in financial, operational, and strategic support. The ICs constitute a platform from which J&J identifies, catalyzes, contributes to and accesses the most promising healthcare innovations at the leading healthcare companies and universities across the globe. JJDC has been the venture capital arm of J&J for over 50 years. JJDC investments balance strategic returns with financial risk and return considerations. Investment vehicles JJDC has employed include seed investments, newco creation, equity investments in private companies, structured deals with an equity investment and PIPEs. In the last 10 years, JJDC has made over 100 new investments and deployed over $3.4 billion in capital.
