We are searching for the best talent for Production Operator to be in Nijmegen.

Please note that for this role we offer 12 months fixed term contract.

Purpose:

The Production Operator will perform all functions required for different manufacturing areas in accordance with established procedures, Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices, Quality Standards, Safety Rules, and the Employee Code of Conduct. The role involves operating manufacturing machinery, making adjustments, and executing product changes as necessary. The Operator will undergo a period of training, qualification, and apprenticeship during which they will perform the duties of the position. The Production Operator will report to the Team lead Production and will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing team in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.

As a Production Operator, you will:

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety protocols at all times.

  • Clean and maintain the work area to prevent contamination and/or mixing of products.

  • Prepare and verify batch components prior to production.

  • Prepare the machinery and perform format changeovers as necessary for production runs.

  • Manufacture products according to established procedures, GMP, documentation practices, and quality standards.

  • Conduct product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Prepare, document, and complete records for each manufacturing step accurately.

  • Perform batch reconciliation and transfer materials to appropriate areas.

  • Participate in corporate security initiatives, use PPE according to procedures, and report any security risks.

  • Support team members in manufacturing processes, fostering mutual cooperation.

  • Escalate issues to the Production Technician or Production Specialist when identifying: process deviations or gaps, batch mix-ups o Critical defects, other concerns impacting safety, production, or product quality.

  • Support finished goods project.

Qualification/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Industry experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

  • Experience with:good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production standards, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), quality, and compliance standards, LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€34,200.00 - €50,600.00
