Senior Clinical Marketing Specialist (d/f/m) EMEA

Location: Aachen (Germany) or Liege (Belgium) or Maastricht (Netherlands).

As a Senior Clinical Marketing Specialist at Abiomed within J&J Medtech, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and solutions within EMEA. This role requires a deep understanding of clinical environments and clinical data. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex clinical information into compelling marketing materials and strategies that resonate with healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead all aspects of the production of high-quality, scientifically accurate marketing materials, including brochures, clinical dossiers, white papers, and other content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including medical office/medical affairs, professional education, training, product management and sales) to develop and complete targeted marketing messaging and ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with product capabilities and clinical data
  • Support market European market expansion and strengthen market development
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities align with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Regularly co-travel to field locations to empower and support field teams, encouraging strong relationships and alignment with goals and initiatives.
  • Participate in all field calls, providing insights and updates on marketing initiatives and field activities.
  • Continuously evaluate the efficiency of marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Handle relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree highly preferred
  • 4-7 years of demonstrated experience in marketing role
  • Strong language skills in French, German and English
  • Experience in medical device, biopharma, healthcare or another regulated field is helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills and the ability to handle multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work are important.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical approach, with the ability to demonstrate data and insights to advise marketing strategies and drive decision-making.
  • Embody Abiomed's Patients First culture, demonstrating a positive demeanour, open communication, and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
  • A passion for helping others and a desire to help improve outcomes for heart attack patients
