What you will be doing:
The Senior Technician QC will ensure that products meet established quality standards by conducting tests, inspections and analyses. They troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and provide guidance to junior technicians to maintain product quality.
What impact you will also have:
- Perform various testing on finished products, stability samples and in-process control samples according to GMP/GLP guidelines and SOP procedures in a timely manner. In addition, perform specific analyses required for the testing team he/she is part of.
- Analyse, report and review test results to applicable systems.
- Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations and lean principles.
- General lab support functions such as ordering of lab supplies, managing generated waste, equipment handling, preparation of reagents and attending team meetings.
- Identify and call out issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Perform other work-related activities assigned by supervisor.
- Proficient in the interpretation of the data.
- Cross-trained for methods and trainer for other employees.
- Collaborates and actively contributes to a team environment both with internal team members and supervisors.
- Builds knowledge of products tested and understanding of the QC methods relative to the product quality.
- Advocates for members of the team and acts as a leader in the team.
- Gains experience and knowledge in team performance, scheduling and metric management
Qualifications
We would love to hear from YOU if you have the following requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in quality, chemistry, biology or science related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharma industry
- Preferably previous experience in QC
- Experience in complex methods, troubleshooting, equipment knowledge and result investigations.
- Strong data analytical skills
- Problem solving
- Excellent communication
