As a QC Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for both the Adventitious Virus Assay and Mycoplasma testing.
The QC Laboratory in Johnson & Johnson plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of products produced by the company. Dedicated teams of highly trained professionals work diligently to conduct rigorous testing and analysis on in-process samples and finished products.

What you will be doing:
- Conduct routine testing of samples for both Adventitious Viruses and Mycoplasma’s using established protocols and procedures.
- Utilize your expertise in Cell Culturing techniques, PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and other relevant techniques to accurately detect and analyze the presence of Mycoplasma’s.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all test results, observations, and data analysis for both AVA and Mycoplasma testing.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize testing methodologies, and ensure reliable and valid results.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable performance for AVA and Mycoplasma testing.
- Stay updated with relevant industry practices, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality assurance for both Adventitious Virus Assay and Mycoplasma testing.
Qualifications
We would love to hear from you, if you have the following essential requirements:
- MLO or HLO degree or equivalent.
- Experience of at least 1 year in a laboratory or quality control environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with techniques such as PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), Cell culturing and other relevant methods used for Adventitious Virus Assay and Mycoplasma testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to AVA and Mycoplasma testing is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
