We are searching for the best talent for a Troubleshooter (16/7 shift) to be in Leiden, NL!

Purpose: The troubleshooter group is part of the Process Support team and is mainly responsible for second line support when production issues occur. The group is also involved in investigations and solving recurrent issues. This job is performed in a 16/7 shift with active beeper responsibilities during night shift according to the pre-determined schedule.

Important: This posting covers two teams: Upstream Processing (USP) and Downstream Processing (DSP). We have 2 open positions for USP, and 1 for DSP but we are using a single joint posting for both.


Your CV will be evaluated against the requirements of the role. If suitable, during the initial screening call you will be asked to confirm your preferred area (USP or DSP). From that point onward, you will be considered only for the area you select you will not be in process for both.

As a troubleshooter you will:

Be part of the Process Support department and ensure the second line troubleshooting for the shift to ensure flow in the production process to minimize the downtime on the shopfloor. Examples of the activities are:

  • Give advice during a technical disturbance,
  • Give advice/ solve Delta-V issues
  • Give advice/solve system issues
  • Give advice on how to deal with unforeseen circumstances.

Next to the troubleshooting (as a primary role) the troubleshooter supports with the following:

  • Formal investigation processes to ensure product quality, compliance, and process flow.
  • Helps with updating procedures based on compliance, and results of internal investigations.
  • Supporting with introduction of new systems
  • Support in optimizing processes for OBP, shift and ES
  • Applies LEAN tools to optimize troubleshooting specific processes and reduce recurrences
  • Data request supporting investigations

Requirements and skills:

  • A relevant MBO-3 degree with at least 3 years' relevant experience or relevant HBO/WO education with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with Up- and/ or downstream production processes and equipment
  • The levels of computer proficiency are intermediate level for MS office, entry level for data analysis, and specialist level for business applications.
  • Affinity for production equipment and automation systems (e.g. DeltaV).
  • Able to work in a high-quality environment (GMP)
  • Must possess problem-solving skills and capable of identifying issues. Well, considered decision making
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, decisive, flexibility, and organized with an ability to work individually and in a team.
  • Ability to work on a shift 16/7 shift and on-call roster
  • Basic LEAN knowledge
  • Good command of English (spoken and written). Good command of Dutch (spoken and written) preferred.

Salary:

The expected gross base salary for this role is between 38,300.00 and 61,410.00 and includes 8% holiday allowance.
