Business Process Architect - Finance & Controlling

Location – Manchester, UK

Hybrid working  2 days in the office, 3 days WFH

As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project.

Role Purpose:

The Business Process Architect Product Business is responsible for defining the business process in A2D stream for the Lonza product business. The Nexus program is one of the largest IT investments of Lonza, over multiple years. In this role, the incumbent will be part of the Nexus project team and reports dotted line into Finance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define and propose the A2D product business framework to the project team.
  • Identify and document key business processes, capabilities, and requirements for S4HANA implementation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT, facilitating effective communication and understanding of business needs
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of S4HANA.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Key requirements:

  • Strong understanding of business process reengineering and the A2D CDMO framework.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in business architecture tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
