The Logistics and Support Specialist supports Early Development Services (EDS), within ADS Licensing, by coordinating and executing logistics and supply chain activities in support of our external collaboration activities. The role encompasses handling of global shipments (import/export) of customer materials and/or technology components. Acting as a key interface between Project Lead External Collaborations, customers, logistics service providers, customs and CDMOs. The position contributes to streamlined logistics workflows and operational excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute and coordinate global import and export shipments, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.

  • Prepare, review, and provide complete shipment documentation to internal and external stakeholders in line with regulatory and trade compliance requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements, global trade compliance regulations, and internal Lonza procedures.

  • Coordinate shipment preparation and pickup, and liaise with customers, logistics service providers and brokers.

  • Support internal and external stakeholders in obtaining required customs clearances and resolving shipment-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate shipment records and support inventory tracking of received and dispatched materials.

  • Perform additional logistics- and support-related activities as required to support business needs.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant logistical working environment in accordance with Lonza safety standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • BSc in Logistics and Supply Chain

  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain

  • Attention to detail and structured working style.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Proactive work attitude with strong team-player mentality.

  • Experience with managing pharmaceutical cold-chain logistics is considered a plus.

  • Strong commitment to project deliverables and customer focused

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • No visa sponsorship available for this role
