Synaffix is a biotech company with a clinical-stage platform technology that enables best-in-class antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), bispecific antibodies and other targeted therapeutics under a technology out-licensing business model. Synaffix was fully acquired by Lonza in June 2023. Aimed at enabling innovative medicines for patients in areas of high unmet medical need, Synaffix has forged a growing number of collaborations with top tier biotech and pharma companies by enabling best-in-class therapeutic candidates for their pipelines.
As a result of the increasing number of external ADC collaborations, we are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic project leader. You will lead a team that supports the preparation of ADCs for external collaborations with biotech/pharma companies. Key tasks include; planning and tracking of the different projects, communicate progress with the customer and support and supervise the team where required. In addition you will be responsible for the reporting of projects (internal and external) as well as keeping other project related documentation up to date.
Key tasks
Manages Senior Research Associates within the Bioconjugation team, reviews performance, agree personal development plans and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Planning, coordination and tracking of external collaboration projects
- Communication with customers regarding timelines, costs and progress of projects
- Ensures delivery of high quality products to customers within the agreed timelines and costs
- Delivery of project-related documentation including certificates of testing (CoTs) and final reports
Requirements
- PhD/Msc in chemical biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or related fields
- Experience with project management in an operational setting
- Strong commitment to project deliverables and customer focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills (qualitative & quantitative)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong team player mentality and ability to motivate people
- Experience with various bioconjugation chemistry techniques and preferably hands-on experience with handling antibodies
- Creative and problem solving personality
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a team
