Join our Finance team, where we utilize advanced financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation techniques to drive medical innovation and improve lives globally. In this role, you will manage, review, report, and analyze data related to inventory, production, and product costs. You will also support the monthly accounting close and management cycles across multiple branches worldwide within the Cost of Sales & Inventory (COSI) matrix organization.

As part of our Finance Team, you will consolidate cross-company financial insights to inform strategic and tactical decision-making. By employing cutting-edge techniques in financial analysis and reporting, you will contribute to advancing medical innovation and improving lives.

Job Description

This position is part of the COSI matrix organization, responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain financial activities—from the manufacturing phase to final product delivery. You will be part of the Asia Pacific & Latin America HUB team, where your responsibilities will include controlling product costs, managing supply chain flows, and overseeing the balance sheet and P&L for your assigned entities. You will serve as a business partner to stakeholders and provide support for entity analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and report on all inventory-related activities, product costs, and period costs.
  • Maintain standard costs in alignment with guidelines from our Manufacturing and Human Health divisions.
  • Deliver high-quality support to a range of stakeholders regarding consolidated financial results.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process for your assigned legal entities.

Additional Duties:

  • Create and maintain product costs in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Conduct month-end cycle activities and provide detailed commentary on financial statements.
  • Analyze consolidated costs and manage intercompany profit elimination.
  • Prepare and implement SOX controls while ensuring a strong internal control environment.
  • Ensure that internal operational deadlines are met with quality and timeliness.
  • Support the annual budgeting cycle for manufacturing costs and cost of sales for your entities.
  • Actively engage in team improvement initiatives and enhancement efforts.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient in English.
  • Holds a BSc or MSc degree in finance or accounting.
  • Possesses 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in Controlling, Accounting, FP&A, or Consolidation, with experience in ERP and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Exhibits a proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
  • Skilled in Excel, Power BI, SAP BW, or similar systems.
