Within our Animal Health site is the department Bio Technology Solutions (BTS). BTS drives and executes Bioprocess technology excellence in close alignment with their partners in R&D and Manufacturing to ensure robust product introductions, product transfers and a reliable product supply to customers. BTS has considerable expertise in viral cell culture, bacterial fermentation, downstream processing, purification, freeze drying and vaccine formulation. BTS is responsible for seed development, new product process development and commercialization of our animal health large vaccine pipeline. The BTS team in Boxmeer consist of approximately 60 employees divided in various groups.

The role

As Management Assistant you are responsible to support the organization in the execution and realization of the priorities across the division.

Given the nature of the role, strong ethics and integrity is required. You collaborate with leaders to support objectives linked to the strategy.

Administrative support is an important component, and you are comfortable with a diverse range of challenges.

With your drive and purpose, you will support the execution of divisional priorities across the integrated network.

Main tasks

Key focus areas for the role, but not limited to these, are:

  • Support the Leadership Team on implementation and realization of plans across our Manufacturing Division end to end network
  • Work with the Leadership Team to drive, follow up, execute on divisional priorities and change management
  • Ensure effective communication to and within teams; prepare presentations and key verbal messages
  • Organize and document meetings
  • Support organizational processes, like Budget and Forecast process
  • Work with Communications to ensure, that messages reflect the current thinking of the Leadership Team and are appropriate for the given audience
  • Support on-boarding/off-boarding activities for new team members
  • Manage/Update distribution lists and departmental shares
  • Travel booking activities/support
  • Support local BTS teams with administrative tasks

Experience and skills

  • Management Assistant experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Hands-on mentality
