Manufacturing OT Projects Manager
Welcome in our team
Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT Boxmeer delivers IT and automation solutions to the manufacturing sites Boxmeer and De Bilt. This encompasses a wide range of manufacturing IT/automation systems and technology, including PLCs, SCADAs, historians, MES systems and supporting IT applications, all aligned to a goal of ensuring frictionless flow of data and more efficient business operations.
Purpose of the role
The Manufacturing OT Projects Manager will be responsible for automation related projects to ensure equipment reliability and organization readiness and sustainability for the company’s ongoing functional, geographical and operational expansion. The Manufacturing Projects Manager will manage communication, preparation and implementation of Automation Life Cycle Management for existing and new installation projects within established scope, schedule, and budget.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead effective project meetings, manage changes and conflicts;
- Lead, coordinate, facilitate and motivate all project stakeholders to gain alignment on project goals and deliverables;
- Communicate and drive changes of existing processes to support implementation;
- Ensure cross-functional business readiness by updating current processes and SOPs, and confirm the Project Charter meets business needs with the solution integrated into existing workflows;
- Review and verify that the final project deliverables meet the business / project needs;
- Taking a ‘helicopter view’, overseeing and ensuring integration between the current specific site process and global processes;
- Set and achieve appropriate KPIs, with designated business representatives providing governance and sign-offs at key milestones;
- Resolve any conflicts or escalations that are raised;
- Key contributor to activity planning, resources & skills allocation, day-to-day activity management and budget.
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation Engineering or Industrial Information Systems;
- At least 2 years experience in pharma is a must;
- At least 5 years experience providing process control and information systems solutions and support to manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries;
- Proven experience of project management leadership in a cross functional environment within IS and Engineering;
- Good knowledge of automation systems architecture, networking and components;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English and preferable in Dutch;
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
