Our Animal Health production organization, with locations in Boxmeer, De Bilt, and Cologne, manufactures and packages high-quality veterinary medicines for the global market. Our sites are organized into seven different Integrated Process Teams, supported by central departments such as Quality, Operational Services, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Management. The Supply Chain Management department, consisting of 49 employees, is responsible for planning production processes, ensuring timely delivery of finished products and managing physical distribution to our customers. The Supply Chain Management department includes Capacity Planning, Value Chain Planning, Replenishment Planning and Distribution.
About the Role
As Quality Control - Capacity Planner, you will be responsible for both mid-term and long-term planning of Quality Control capacity, supporting reliable release dates for all products tested in Boxmeer and acting as a key contact for the Quality Control department. You will play a pivotal role in our Integrated Business Planning cycles, drive improvement initiatives, and support decision-making processes that impact the future of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Long-Term Planning: Annual evaluation of Quality Control capacity availability up to 5 years ahead.
- Mid-Term Planning: Monthly assessment of Quality Control capacity versus demand for a 3–24-month horizon.
- Integrated Business Planning: Prepare and execute Capacity & Supply Review cycles, propose scenarios for capacity issues, and support decision-making.
- Budget & Rolling Forecast: Create yearly plans for budget processes and update rolling forecasts three times per year in coordination with Finance and Quality teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for the Quality Control department regarding mid/long-term capacity assumptions; liaise with planning teams across sites, R&D, and Product Surveillance. Serve as first escalation point.
- Improvement Initiatives: Initiate or contribute to projects aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or equivalent.
- Experience in supply chain management or laboratory planning, preferably in a relevant industry (GMP/HACCP familiarity is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems, preferably SAP.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Analytical, process-oriented and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Collaborative, constructive and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Drive for continuous improvement.
