Our Animal Health production organization, with locations in Boxmeer, De Bilt, and Cologne, manufactures and packages high-quality veterinary medicines for the global market. Our sites are organized into seven different Integrated Process Teams, supported by central departments such as Quality, Operational Services, Operational Excellence, and Supply Chain Management. The Supply Chain Management department, consisting of 49 employees, is responsible for planning production processes, ensuring timely delivery of finished products, and managing physical distribution to our customers. The Supply Chain Management department includes Capacity Planning, Value Chain Planning, Replenishment Planning and Distribution.

Purpose of the role

Quality Short-term Planner , you will be responsible for generating and managing weekly short-term testing plans, ensuring optimal laboratory capacity utilization, and serving as the main contact for lab schedulers. You will play a key role in exception management and contribute to the smooth operation of our processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Short-Term Planning: Generate weekly short-term testing plans for a 1–12 week horizon.
  • Planning Meetings: Chair weekly planning meetings with lab schedulers to hand over testing plans.
  • Monitoring: Track progress of testing plans and adjust release dates in SAP as needed.
  • Exception Management: Handle exceptions within the short-term horizon (e.g., fast tracks, re-testing, delays) and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for lab schedulers to manage capacity and exceptions in the short term.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics or equivalent.
  • Experience in supply chain management or laboratory planning, preferably in a relevant industry (GMP/HACCP familiarity is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English .
  • Analytical, process-oriented and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Collaborative, constructive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Drive for continuous improvement.
