Senior Financial Analyst Finance

This position is part of the COSI matrix organization, which performs end to end activities from actual occurrence of a financial result till consolidation level in HQ. Main tasks will be maintaining, reviewing, reporting, and analyzing of sales, inventory, intercompany profit, production, and product cost data in supporting the monthly accounting close and management cycles for 1 or multiple branches. Further it is expected that you will be mentoring E2E Financial Analysts.

Main responsibilities

Your main tasks will be:

  • Responsible to maintain and create product cost according to US GAAP rules;
  • Control analyzes and report production results and source to settle variances monthly to business partners by providing high level commentary and provided estimates for recurring events to major stakeholders;
  • Monitor inventory level and generate appropriate actions to avoid inventory risks and discards with stakeholders;
  • Review and ensure accurate data are reported per branch in monthly product cost, sales, and inventory consolidation close;
  • Analyze and resolve in transit inventory in a timely manner following up to determine driver of inventory remaining in transit and partnering with parties to resolve;
  • Analyzes consolidated costs and intercompany profit differences;
  • Identify and work on initiatives that improve cost control and/or increase efficiency;
  • Continue to meet the S404 requirements, updating documentation and performing/enhancing existing controls;
  • Analyze standard revision on global level by branch and ensure appropriate accounting is performed from a local and global branch perspective;
  • Addresses entity/divisional customer questions and requests on a variety of data and system issues. Plus provide accurate and timely financial cost, sales and inventory data to customers as requested;
  • Participate in special and ad hoc projects to support management analysis and provide ad-hoc quality support to business partners.

Qualifications

  • Education: BSc Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent (MSc or Professional Certification (ACCA, CMA etc.) is a plus). With minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance;
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP, and with reporting systems (Analysis for Office / BW / Power BI);
  • Familiarity with project management essentials is a plus;
  • Previous practical experience of preparing accounts in accordance with US GAAP;
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and you are Goal-orientated;
  • Capable of making decisions, show initiative, open to change and be adaptive;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Able to mentor effectively openly share and mentor experience with peers in an effort to broaden knowledge and increase efficiency.
