We have an exciting new job opportunity and are looking to hire a Value Chain Product Lead (Global Supply Chain Management)

Welcome in our team

Our Global Supply Chain team (~115 employees) ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Sales, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan, to be able to deliver uninterrupted, unconstrained, compliant supply, delivered on schedule, at a cost point that meets market requirements. With 13 FTE, the Value Chain Team (based in Europe and the US) is accountable for developing supply strategies for in-line and pipeline products and supply chain design for new products and Business Development acquisitions. Due to the recently acquired manufacturing sites for aqua products, we are planning to expand the team and are seeking an additional Value Chain Product Lead.

Purpose of the role

Reporting into the Value Chain Leader (based in Europe), you are responsible for developing and executing our product and long-term supply strategy for our new and existing Aqua business portfolio (~200 products) across the world, aligned with our Global Animal Health strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic plans for product life cycles, implementing initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, and ensuring successful launch strategies through effective collaboration across functions. You will lead Launch Supply Execution teams and work closely with Global Marketing, Research and Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality and other departments to align on strategic objectives. Additionally, you will maintain awareness of product source changes, providing ongoing support to execution teams throughout the process, and optimizing value chain-related business processes to drive operational excellence.

This role can be located in Boxmeer (NL), Unterschleissheim (DE), Salamanca (E), Milton Keynes (UK), Vienna (A), Igoville (F), Zürich, Luzern (CH), Prince Edward Island (CA), Upper Gwynedd, PA​​, Rahway, NJ, Millsboro, DE or DeSoto, KS (US).

Your profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Science or Supply Chain Management.
  • Extensive and diverse experience in an international manufacturing organization with multiple locations and a wide range of products, leading to strongly developed cross-functional skills and a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Proven track record and ability to effectively lead a cross-functional matrix team in the development and execution of complex strategies and projects, working with geographically diverse teams to foster accountability and achieve measurable results.
  • A leadership style that is confident, proactive, energetic and fully embraces accountability.
  • Living near one of the locations mentioned above and willing to travel globally on occasion.

The minimum annual salary for this position in Austria is €87.900 and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
