Intern - Global Procurement Supplier Management

Job Description

The Position

An internship in Global Procurement Supplier Management (GPSM) Operational Excellence will allow you to:

• Work hands-on improving supplier manufacturing processes.
• Gain exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) such as Statistical System Lifecycle Management, Data Analysis, Power BI and Share Points.
• Analyzes and Present Data to all levels of users
• Perform assessments and propose solutions for reports or systems
• Advance an understanding of group dynamics within working communities.
• Foster collaboration and innovation.
• Strengthen communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Operational Excellence team Data Analytics Support for Supplier Management Systems
• Cost Impact/Value model creation for supplier management work.
• Dashboard Development – e.g., Tier supplier interruption, supplier development progress using Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• Third-Party Risk and Compliance projects.
• Learning and Development support.
• SharePoint/Teams redesign.
• Data Analytics Support – supplier scorecards, spend data and trending.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

• Pursuing B.S. degree (Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical, Biochemistry).
• Ability to work during summer 2025.
• Interpersonal and communications skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Strong data collection, analysis and reporting, Project Management.
