In this role you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities necessary to support the Market Access and Trade teams and, closely collaborating within the teams and cross-functionally, activities related to pricing and contracting in broad terms. Moreover, you will be responsible for the contacts with headquarter (pricing) teams and the different projects we participate in as a country.

The Pricing & Market Access Support Officer role is part of the Market Access team, which consists in the Netherlands of seven people and is providing support related to reimbursement and patient access to the different Business Units and Franchises. Supported also by the global Market Access organization, the team is highly motivated to constantly developing knowledge and capabilities based on sharing learnings from our activities as well as external developments and expertise. Working collaboratively cross-functionally, both locally as well as with our international colleagues, we aim for the best solutions towards our ultimate goal, access for patients to our products.

Main responsibilities:

• General administrative support (planning of meetings and activities; buying and invoicing processes) of the Market Access and Trade teams
• Facilitating the contracting process with hospitals, wholesalers and buying groups in close collaboration with the Trade team, Business Units/Franchises and other internal stakeholders
• Be a partner for external stakeholders involved in contracting for products with Sanofi (wholesalers, hospital pharmacies, buying groups)
• Maintaining internal (Global Pricing System) and external (G-standaard) pricing and contracting (ACM) databases
• Lead and support internally and externally (Wet Geneesmiddelprijzen, WGP) driven pricing changes, including analysis, administration and communication
• Support claims handling, resulting from contracting activities and financial arrangements, from wholesalers and healthcare insurance companies
• Coordinate and facilitate internal alignment between customer service, supply chain, finance, Market Access and Trade, necessary to ensure accurate administration related to pricing and contracting, as well as successful conduct of projects related to financing and reimbursement of Sanofi products

About you

• Experience in contracting, pricing, market access or related activities, ideally in pharmaceutical companies or from other organizations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective networking and relationship building skills
• Pro-active, self-motivated and prioritization skills
• Attention to detail whilst able to retain a helicopter view
• Good knowledge of, and practical skills with, Excel
• Oral and written fluency in Dutch and English
