The opportunity

The purpose of this role is to serve as Medis’ internal Salesforce subject matter expert, ensuring the Salesforce platform effectively supports Medis’ global out licensing business. The role strengthens Medis’ digital capabilities by configuring, optimizing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions, including the implementation of Salesforce Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud planned for 2026. This is an individual contributor role that requires a customer-centric and solutions driven approach, strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

In this role you will among other:

  • Serve as Medis’ primary Salesforce subject matter expert and internal platform owner.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, and security settings.
  • Build and optimize Flows, automations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Manage profiles, permission sets, user access, and admin tasks.
  • Support the rollout of Salesforce Experience Cloud for customer/partner portals.
  • Support the setup and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (segmentation, journeys, automations).
  • Track, prioritize, and deliver enhancement requests aligned with commercial and operational goals.
  • Conduct sandbox testing and support deployment of new capabilities.
  • Review Salesforce release notes and implement relevant improvements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Marketing, CX, BD, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Support integrations with SAP, Symfact, PLM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide training, documentation, and user support to strengthen adoption.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve Salesforce related service requests.
  • Maintain data quality, governance, and platform performance.

Your Experience and Qualification

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands on Salesforce experience (Admin / CRM Specialist / Platform Specialist).
  • Strong experience with Salesforce configuration: Flows, Lightning App Builder, Object/Data modelling, Security, Dashboards & Reports.
  • Experience with ‘Salesforce Experience Cloud’ and/or Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with integrations via APIs or middleware (advantage).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Strong documentation and training abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
